@Anonymous - So I've heard! The Zelda series has such wonderful music, it'll be great to hear everything orchestrated. Although, I can understand a composer's decisions to keep things in MIDI even when orchestrations are possible - Koji Kondo is great at writing interactive music that changes according to the player's actions, and it wouldn't have been possible without MIDI.
@Jordan - Yes, the first page is mostly a slow 24-bar intro that I came up with, using the melody from the chorus. If you peek at the bottom right corner of the first page, after the big arpeggio - that's where the real fun starts! (Anyone who can read music might recognize it - it's the actual Gusty Garden intro.)
Next is freezeflame!!! Please :). This looks epic!!!! Aivi, ur awesome, we love you, and you can play piano. And that's what its all about! *you just lost the game* gotcha!!
hola is the first to see that write recently saw your videos, and they have a special talent I hope you keep playing melodies with that feeling that you put
:D I can't wait for this to come out, i love all the SMG you've arranged so far! Also, are you going to make sheets for the SMG 2 main theme? That's my favorite song from SMG 2 :D
After you put it up I'll try and learn it for my year 12 music performance! And by the way, you are so talented! You've actually inspired me that much! ^_^
Off-topic, but you haven't done a cover of the credits, have you? I think i looked through everything... Anyways, I was just wondering. It's probably my favorite piece of the entire game. So if you could do a cover of it... XD
Have you any plans for more Super Mario Galaxy songs? I loved the Space Junk song you played on the piano, used to be my favourite song in the whole game, so keep it up!
Aivi, you are astonishing. Well done and hope you have fun!
i hope you can finish this soon im looking forward to trying to learn it on my grandma's old, off-key, sticky keyed piano over the summer! :) (well, maybe not how its off key and the keys stick, but i can play it at home too.) :)
