  4. Off topic, but have you heard that the new Zelda (Skyward Sword) will be orchestrated? !!

  5. Thanks for the update! Your fan club appreciates it!

...Actually, there should be an Aivi Tran fan club! :D

And that's the chorus, right? The...da DA DA da DA DA da DA DA...and so on and so forth.

    That's great!

  6. Thanks, everyone! :)

@Anonymous - So I've heard! The Zelda series has such wonderful music, it'll be great to hear everything orchestrated. Although, I can understand a composer's decisions to keep things in MIDI even when orchestrations are possible - Koji Kondo is great at writing interactive music that changes according to the player's actions, and it wouldn't have been possible without MIDI.

@Jordan - Yes, the first page is mostly a slow 24-bar intro that I came up with, using the melody from the chorus. If you peek at the bottom right corner of the first page, after the big arpeggio - that's where the real fun starts! (Anyone who can read music might recognize it - it's the actual Gusty Garden intro.)

  9. So, I played my arrangement of Gusty Garden for a friend of my dad's today.

Have you ever noticed that a person's opinion of a song changes when they find out it's from a video game?
